Opal was my own dog. She was a french bulldog.  She lived to be 10 years old.
She was from a breeder in Las Vegas,

so Opal’s full AKC registered name was “Miss Opal of the Vegas Strip”.

Opal was a certified therapy dog. She started doing therapy work when she was six months old.

And she continued her therapy work all the way till the end of her life. Her last hospital visit was only a few weeks before she died. She was a consummate pro at doing therapy work. Opal specialized in doing therapy visits to pediatric units in hospitals, although she also occasionally worked with senior living facilities residents and Alzheimer’s patients as well.

Opal shared her loving personality with literally thousands of people throughout her ten years.
RIP sweet Opal. You will always be remembered and loved.
